We are once again hosting one of the most beloved actors of Southeast Europe.

Zijah A. Sokolović’s impressive acting and authorial career spans over fifty films, twelve TV series, hundreds of roles on theatre stages, more than sixty awards for artistic work and educational theatre projects. His monodramas, which have turned this actor, director, university professor, and author into a kind of theatrical institution, have made him a unique creative personality in our region.

His monodrama “The Actor… is an Actor… is an Actor” is a cult performance that premiered at MESS in Sarajevo in 1978. Since then, besides Zijah A. Sokolović, it has been performed by 19 actors in five languages in 25 countries worldwide.
