Buried Wonders is a multimedia theatre performance about love, memory, and illusion.

The performance leads viewers into the intimate, final moments of a woman, in which memories open up like stripped-bare shelters, and scenes where imagination and reality merge to form a powerful emotional space.

Through three symbolic spaces – the Garden of Eden, the Bridge, and the Apartment – the audience enters the world of a life filled with reality and imagination, desires and needs. The first part takes place in the Garden of Eden, a space of maturity and reconciliation, in which the Eternal Girl, as an old woman, confronts transience. The second part is set on the Bridge, where the encounter with the Eternal Boy takes place and love begins. The third, central part unfolds in the Apartment of the two lovers, where all possible variations of a shared life “play out” – tenderness, fear, passion, and the end.

The performance uses video projections as a form of set design, creating three-dimensional spaces in which the actors immerse themselves in a “living picture.” Through a combination of live acting, video imagery, and musical performance, “Buried Wonders” erases the boundaries between theatre and film, between the real and the imagined. The result is a live theatrical film – visually powerful, emotionally stripped bare, and universally recognisable.
