Lenka Udovicki has directed a great number of Ulysses theater productions such as King Lear, Medea, Marat\/Sade, Core Sample, Hamlet, Drunken Night 1918 , Romeo and Juliet in ’68, The Tempest, Cabaret Brecht – Rise of Arturo Ui, Deceased, Shakespeare in the Kremlin and Antigone – 2000 years later.<\/p>\n

Her career began in former Yugoslavia with productions including “Women in Colorful Skirts\u201d by M. Bjeli\u0107, \u201cPraying for a Little Luck\u201d by S. Andjeli\u0107 and L. Udovi\u010dki, \u201cChamber Music\u201d by Arthur Kopita, \u201cDeadly Motorism\u201d by A. Popovi\u0107, \u201cOpera for Two Dinars\u201d by B. Nu\u0161i\u0107, her own adaptation, \u201cMother Courage\u201d by B. Brecht adapted by Borislav Vuj\u010di\u0107, \u201cAntigone\u201d by Dusan Jovanovic.<\/p>\n

Her recent work in the region includes “Henry V” by William Walton with the Zagreb Philharmonic conducted by Sir Neville Marriner in the Vatroslav Lisinski concert hall in Zagreb, and “Umbreakable String- Workers In Culture” with Natasa Govedic and the garment workers of Kamensko factory.<\/p>\n

Lenka has been active internationally since 1992. In 1994 she was co-founder of the Moving Theatre company for which she directed \u201cWaterfall\u201d, \u201cArsonists\u201d at Riverside Studio, “The Consul\u201d at Leighton House, and Eve Ensler’s “Necessary Targets\u201d.<\/p>\n
